Sadie Marie

I've been wanting to write a post for a couple months now, but sometimes naps sound way better than typing :)
Our beautiful and perfect little girl arrived 8 days late but as cute as ever.  She was born on February 27th at 4:59 pm weighing in at 7 pounds 12 ounces and 21 inches long.  I'm pretty sure I say, "Man, she's so cute" every single day.  I'm not going to go into detail about my labor (Brady already recorded that and it's nice to not think about the pain ;) ) but I will say that when Sadie was set on my chest right after she was born, I was overwhelmed with so much love.  It's really incomprehensible.  It was instant and my heart was so full.  I kept saying, "She's so beautiful!  She's so beautiful."  She was looking at me and already holding her neck up pretty well.  I was crying and so was Brady. It's crazy to think how much more we love her now... and that love will continue to grow.

She has been a good baby since day 1.  I've only had a few sleepless nights where she just didn't want to sleep!  She has been sleeping through the night since she was five weeks old.  She's our angel baby!  She can also roll over... she did that for the first time at 2 months and 1 week.  We like to say she's a prodigy ;)
She loves to coo and smile at us.  It's my favorite thing to hold her and talk to her.  I can tell that she's learning so much.  She changes and grows mentally and physically every day.  It's so amazing to see that growth.  I remember on the way home from the hospital, I told Brady that I didn't want her to grow up, that I wanted her to stay little.  It is a bit sad that she isn't a teeny tiny newborn any more, but it's so fun to see her learn how to do new things.  She's going to be sitting up and crawling before we know it!  We're trying to capture every phase and remember it.  She is so precious to us and I am so grateful that she is a part of our family.
