Julie & Brady: Summa Summa

On June 27th, we celebrated Brady's 29th birthday! One more year before he's officially SUPER old ;) I think he had a fun day, I know I did!

I got him flowers for his bday :)

We went to the Mariners vs. Cubs game with a firework show afterward.

Brady wanted Sushi for his bday, so he got it (much to my dismay)

The girls I nanny had an art camp and made these awesome gifts for B-Didds.

We love to hike and we found this gem of a trail called Rattlesnake Ledge in North Bend. The lake was so beautiful! It was only a six mile hike so it took us just a couple hours. We loved it!

I work as a nanny and this summer has been so fun. I always tell people I get paid to go to parks and beaches and do really fun things. I love my job and I'm grateful for the kids I watch. I nanny twin ten-year-old girls who are awesome. They are very sweet and helpful and fun to be with. Their names are Hailey and Sofia. I also watch a 20-month-old girl named Paige and I love her so much! She constantly makes me smile. She's just so sweet. I've added some of my favorite pics of my girls and the activities we've done.

We went to Pike Place market and bought 21 dollars worth of candy... oops!

We like going to the beach to swim. I actually got in the water all the way this time. Usually I'm kind of wussy :)

Brady has his own little nanny gig! He has watched these two kids, Gillian and Silas, a few times and they adore him.

We went roller skating! I think Brady enjoyed it more than the girls did ;)

We went canoeing on Lake Washington! The bridge is 520, and it's pretty fun to go underneath them.

July 4th was pretty sweet! We spent the day at Matthew's beach with my family. My parents, Emily, Colin, Leah, Shay and Leslie and Bart's family all were there. We had a bbq and played soccer and played games. It was a party! Then we went to Gas Works park to see the firework show, and it was pretty sweet!

My parents and Colin and Emily stayed til July 5th, so we got to explore a bit. We went to the Ballard Locks and had a rockin' time. Colin is so fashionable.

We had a field trip to Olympia with the twins so we could visit with Corinne who was visiting from Vegas with her kids. We toured the Capitol building and went to the water fountain downtown.

At first, I was made the kids stop sliding down.. but then I thought, "I did the same thing when I was a kid, so what the heck?" They loved the marble slides :)

Little Vivian is the cutest, chubbiest little girl :)

I went raspberry picking with the Coppins and I totally got more berries than the kids :)

This past weekend we went camping at Lake Cushman with 8 of my siblings. A pretty good turn out for the Plank Clan! We had lots of fun roastin' mallows, swimming and canoeing in the lake and "kind of" hiking Mt. Eleanor.
