Leah and Emily Visit Utah

 A few months ago, Leah and Emily stopped by UT on their way to Indiana.  We had so much fun together!  It felt so nice to have my sisters with me.  We've always been the "three little girls" growing up, and we're all still very close.  I was happy to see them hold and love Sadie, they're such good aunties!
The first day they were here, we went to Temple Square... it's pretty nice living so close to downtown.  It's always a beautiful place to walk around.

We went to Antelope Island the next day.  It's an island in the Great Salt Lake.  We hiked half-way to Frary Peak on the island.  The peak itself wasn't very appealing to the eye, but the views of the lake were gorgeous.  It's a very different kind of beautiful than what we're used to in WA but we enjoyed it.  

We aren't used to seeing lizards, so we were excited to see so many on our hike!

We saw a few bison... one even charged us!  AHH!

And thankfully, we saw an antelope on Antelope Island as we were exiting the park

We also went to Silver Lake up Big Cottonwood canyon.  It's a really beautiful spot and much cooler so high in the canyon!

One of the nights Leah and Em were here, we hiked Ensign Peak.  It's a cool and quick hike with a sweet view of the city as well as the mountains surrounding.

The Saturday that Emily and Leah were visiting, we took a trip up to Park City to go on the Alpine Slides!  The experience was so fun.  Leah, Brady and I took the ski lift up the mountain to get to the top of the slide.  Leah and I were able to go side by side... pretty sure I won the race ;)

After the slides, we all went to Jordanelle Reservoir to "swim"... but really, Brady was the only one who got in.  It was way too coldies for us!

We had a fun time together!  I'm excited for our next rendezvous :)
