Antelope Island- Easter- Coppin/Higham Visit

I've been wanting to go back to Antelope Island for a long time and we finally made it happen.  Brady hadn't gone since he was a kid and I wanted to show him the pretty views that we saw when Leah, Emily and I went together last summer.

Some proof that Sadie loves the playground.  Can't wait til she can go down the slides by herself!

I also have to document that Sadie is a thumbsucker.  She sucks her thumb when she's tired and sometimes when she's upset.  We're hoping it won't be too big of an issue to make her stop eventually!  Also, she can pull off a set of overalls like nobody's business :)

For Christmas, I got Brady tickets to see Joshua Radin.  Man, he was pretty sexy for a 40 year old.  Brady agreed.

Easter!! Our Ward had an Easter egg hunt the week before and we were so excited to see Sadie with her little basket.  She even put the eggs in by herself.  That night, I went to the General Woman's broadcast and while I was gone Brady said she had been squeezing a Twix bar for a long time and finally broke through the wrapper.  Next thing he knew, she had chocolate on her lips with a delighted expression on her face :)

Leslie and her family came for their spring break!  And Corinne's family came for the weekend.  It was so fun having them in town.  We hosted an Easter egg hunt and egg decorating.  Sadie loved having a house full of cousins. Indiana and Kylee spent the night one night and we watched Little Rascals, painted nails, and braided hair.  Well, I did the last two things for the girls... Nobody braided my hair or painted my nails... Wait... what the heck!  It was super fun to hang with just the girls though.  I don't get to have my one on one time with them as much anymore, so it'was special :)

All the cousins and their Easter spoils

Corinne is so beautiful <3

Sadie and Vivi are besties

On Sunday, we headed to Dinosaur National Monument in Vernal, UT.  Brady booked a hotel without consulting me for 35 dollars.  We showed up around 11 o'clock that night to the most disgusting hotel room I've ever been in.  It wreaked of smoke and when I woke up the next day, I noticed multiple stains on the sheets :(
Needless to say, I was pretty mad at Brady.  :-/ We left around 7 am the next morning, got breakfast, and hung out at Leslie's hotel.  Don't worry, I eventually forgave him. ;) "Dino Land" (as I like to call it) was pretty cool.  We went on a little hike that had some bones that you could see embedded into the cliff sides.  There was also a building that had tons of dino bones of all sizes.  It was pretty crazy!  If anything, it was great to spend time with Leslie and her family especially.  I miss living close to them!

Indiana and Miranda were hiking buddies

You have to get a selfie pic when Leslie's in town... I think she invented them

Calvin said, "I'm gonna do this...cuz I like to take funny pictures"

Calvin wanted to ride back to SLC with us.  These two cuties fell asleep.  And then Calvin didn't want to ride with us anymore when Sadie started to cry when she woke up :)

We went to the aquarium one day.  My favorite part was the "Shark Tunnel".  It was awesome to see sharks and fish swim right over your head.  We stayed in that area for a bit and just stared :)

Oh, and we toured the Conference Center while the Coppins were here.  I've never done the tour before, so it was really cool to learn more about how it was built, etc.

Beren was my helper with Sadie.
And a BUNCH of random but much needed pictures :)

Sadie has been OBSESSED with every type of vent.  She's trying to put my high heel in this one.  Every day, I find something stuffed in there.  She even tries to climb in sometimes.  Good thing she's too big!

My cute Costco shopping buddy

This temple is simply beautiful.  We've loved going monthly!

My friend Kiersten and her little boy Scott went on a hike up Bells Canyon with us.  It got a little snowy and sketchy at the top.  Oh well, we survived!

Sadie is also obsessed with blowing kisses.  She gets a little aggressive about it sometimes :)

She's getting close to walking on her own! Maybe!

She LOVES stairs.  If she could go up and down stairs all day, I think she would!

So much sass

Her first french braid.  It immediately fell out :)

Brady and I scored tickets to the opening game for Real Salt Lake!  (Thanks Adam and Ann!)

I wish they were the Sounders, but I'll take any soccer team for now :)

Brady sang along to their fight song... I refused :-/

Pi Day! My pie should have won the contest.  Rigged.

Stroller mechanic

We went to Cedar City after Leslie and her fam left.  Emmi got baptized, so we drove down to spend the weekend with Brady's family.  Emmi was so beautiful in her baptismal dress.  She is such a sweetie and we love her a ton!

Brady showed me his hitting skills.  Ow ow!

Sadie took a turn driving on our way back home :)

So this pic and the video below were taken on a Monday... beautiful sunshine, warm weather... and then...

Snow happened.  We were pretty excited actually, because we've been out of town or sick with the previous snow storms.  This one just lasted a couple days.

I'm impressed with my photography skills :)

Sadie loves playing with my shoes and putting stuff on her head.  She's the weirdest duck we know.

Trouble!  Sadie Trouble Duncan.  She loves making messes and is so proud of herself for it.
