Baby BOY on his way!

I am 21 weeks pregnant with our baby boy, and he's due on December 27th.  We're pretty set on naming him Graham, so I'll probably just call him that.  I am feeling great and starting to show... I'm finally getting out of the "you kinda just look fat" phase and into "oh, I get it... you're pregnant" phase.  I like the latter phase better :)
This pregnancy has been pretty similar to when I was pregs with Sadie.  I did get sick, though, for about 2 weeks in the beginning.  It was weeks 6 and 7 where I felt gross.  We were in Yosemite and I think all of the driving and eating out wasn't helping my nausea.  I ended up throwing up once while we were driving to a trail head.  I felt a very small glimpse of what a lot of women go through in their pregnancies and I felt their pain!  I am so so grateful that I started feeling good again after those 2 weeks were up.  Major high fives to those women who feel yucky for a lot longer.
I have been having some hip joint pain, but it comes and goes.  If I rest enough, it feels great.  I'm definitely super slow at running now.  I makes me sad/mad when people pass me.  I really want a shirt that says, "I'm not slow, I'm pregnant".  And I'm still doing Insanity a few times a week... it gets harder and harder, but I want to continue for as long as I can.  I can't disappoint Sean T.

We just found out a week or so ago that we're having a boy, and we are really getting excited to add some testosterone to this family! ;)  We've had the name Graham picked out for a while.  I was listening to one of my favorite songs, "Emmylou" by First Aid Kit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PC57z-oDPLs&list=RDPC57z-oDPLs) and as I was listening, the name Graham really stood out to me.  I texted Brady right away and asked what he thought about Graham.  He said he really liked it, so we put it at the top of our list and haven't really talked about any other names.

We can't wait to hold him and love him.  We're looking forward to seeing Sadie as a big sister and watching their sibling relationship grow strong.  We have a feeling they are going to be best buddies!  They'll be about 22 months apart.  It's so fun to imagine Sadie holding him and trying to guess what his personality is going to be like.

A few words from the excited and proud papa of our new little boy. At first we kind of wanted another girl to be a bff to Sadie and I got to be honest the cost savings on not having to buy new baby clothes would have been nice ;) But there is no denying how excited I am to have a little boy!! There is something about a man having and his first born son that is just such a big deal. I am having all these visions of us playing sports together, going on father and sons outings, and me imparting all my man wisdom on him (haha... shouldn't take long).  We are so lucky to have him coming into our lives! And he is one lucky boy to have a mommy who already loves him more than he will ever be able to imagine.

Graham's first set of onesies.  He has to have horses on at least one item of clothing :)

Here's a comparison between the profiles of Sadie and Graham.  The top is Graham and the bottom is Sadie.

Our little boy is well endowed... no mistaking his gender, that's for sure!

We love his sweet little face already :)
